  • I've never heard that they're number one in Taiwan. What are they basing this on?

    • I always assumed it doesn’t mean anything kind of like how every carvery ever says they got the best burger in town

        What if it's true though?

Well, free drink during the soft drink. Good to find out. The day I went there was the Oolong tea, pretty refreshing, and I asked for less surger. Love it. 😁

It can be reported to ACCC for misleading statements if it cannot be backed up. You can say that SOME thinks it's the best, but if you say it's Taiwan's Favourite, you'd better be able to back it up when challenged.

It's ok to advertise, but not to mislead.

Good to see they've edited the post to remove number one and replace with favourite which as a weasel words wouldn't have the same problem.

I've tried them out and their product is actually decent. Good quality and their staff is actually from Taiwan and attentive and pleasant! I was expecting watered down tea with rude service but came away impressed. Will be back!

Bubble tea was originally invented in Taiwan, so authenticity really matters, especially to fans from places like Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong who know and love the real thing. 🙂 It is good to have more authentic drink shop like this in Melbourne. Personally, I like the tea flavours from there. But is kind of objective~

    • I hate bubble tea.

      • 😅 fair enough.

    • 春水堂is the name of the first progenitor bubble tea shop. Thenore came such as Machi Machi, YiFang, Tianren, but I have NEVER heard of this brand.

      • Where all the OG EASYWAY fans at

I went for the free drink. And found that the founder was actually the Actor from Taiwan. And he use to be one of the group from Jay Chou's company. 😆

Oh whew, I was worried that we didn't have enough in Melbourne (and especially underserviced in that area!).

How many of this that claim they're the absolute #1 top best one in Taiwan is this now?

I'll look out for the ungodly queues.

  • I hope registering doesn’t require a phone number…

    • I think you need it.
