Always love a good markdown on meat that has a close use by date.
Can anybody explain the supermarkets policies so I can get the best deal?
My local Woolies seems to mark down meat around 11am. The level of discount seems to vary, with stuff useby tomorrow the cheapest, but two days out is sometimes 30-40% off, but sometimes only 10-15% off.
At the nearest Coles it seems a bit more random.

No idea, why not ask at your local stores, it would be much easier
