  • Hodl for EOFY?

    • +21

Hodl until you see a price you are comfy with and a product you love, otherwise you'll be hodling till kingdom come

    • +1

Man, 2025 and people still holding for 4090 lol. Been years and they still waiting to at least experience playing in 4k lol

    • +3

This is a great price, if I was in the market I’d jump on it. Have to make a move at some point.

    • Unlikely there's many 2024 models still around by EOFY, these are clearances right now. EOFY you will get a deal on a 2025 model but won't be as cheap as this I'd expect.

    How to access EPP?

    • +1

    • Not sure about EPP but education store you just need an email with edu in it. If you know someone in school/university or works for education department you could probably ask them to sign up for you.

  • that's a good price

  • +4

    good price.

my old man paid way more for the 77 inch c4 - and i was always thinking oled was overrated - but wow, its stunning . if you can afford it, definitely wont regret.

  • How much stock is there?

  • Its still 4.9k on edu store. Stock available

  • Which companies are part of the LG EPP ? Can you look up the price of the 77 in ?

  • I literally bought this for $4.45K yesterday off LG EPP with a 10% code.

Someone tell me I can do something haha.

    • was it a one time code?if not, do you mind sharing it for the greater good.

      • +1

Looks like a one-time use code. Just had to ask the live chat and they gave it up but I don't think it'll stack with this code.

        • Is there a trick to live chat? Last time I hit them up for a code they just told me to email sales for the code. I emailed them and never got a response.

          • +2

@zonra: I mentioned missing out on the St Patricks Day code and if they could do anything about it

Got my 77' for 3200 display model last month. Absolutely incredible viewing experience. You will not regret it!

  • This is an absolutely bonkers price for a mammoth TV. Honestly it's almost nearing the "too big" category, which is something I never thought I'd say.

    • I got the 77" C5 a few weeks ago and thought it would be massive. Now that I am used to it, I am thinking we could've gone the 83" !

    • Depends on viewing distance. I wouldn't say this is mammoth if you're sitting 3.8m away from it. The equivalent is 65in at 3m distance (which is what I have, and feel the tv is too small at 3.8m back).

  • Bugger, employer isn't a partner. What a let down.

  • +1

I was able to access the partner program via Bluelightcard. I can't exactly remember the sign up process as I did it years ago, whether there is any validation or not, I don't recall. But it appears to be available to wide and varied organisations on the sign up page.

I then accessed the LG partner program and got the discounts as posted by the OP.
Got the 83" for my folks

  • Where is the code for this? When i add to cart i dont get the 15% off applied.

    • You need to select the voucher for 15% off and then it applies

      • It only comes up with my epromoter 10% code (asked in chat) or the $50 off sign up bonus

  • This went as low as $3900 almost 3 weeks ago. I tried purchasing it from Japan when I was on holiday and it denied me 4 times.

Saved me $$$ coz it was an impulsive buy. In the end i used the $$$ for a roborock vacuum haha and my house is clean af!

    • Sure that wasnt 77?

      • They may be right. I didn’t check the 83 but the 77 was $3400 about 2 weeks ago (or $3200ea if buying 2).

      • +1

        Nope it was the 83.

        AUD 3973.03

        1.0000 x 83 inch LG OLED evo C4 4K Smart TV

Transaction Receipt: Failed (Apparently LG thought i was scamming them coz i was overseas. They lost out on my sale and my impulsivity eased haha)

        • Did you have a code?

          • @richmond12: Nope, the price at the time was $4675 plus the 15% off if you spend more than 4,000 which dropped it to 3973.

Only through EPP. Then the prices went back up after the week it was lowered. It was for about a week i reckon the sale ran for.

  • The price isnt working for the 77 inch.

  • How do you actually get the 15% off? It doesnt seem to work for me?

    • You need to added to the cart. Once added you have the option to redeem voucher. Click on it and then new price shows up.

  • Sigh, another great deal for the LG EPP and so difficult to get access. Can anyone tell me what a 77 G5/G4 is going for?

    • +1

      G5 77 is $6119.23
      G4 77 is $4971.73.

Absolutely steal given that even a display model at JBHIFI, i couldnt get for less than $6.5k

      • Thanks, decent prices.

  • For OLED83C4PSA, "Temporarily out of stock, contact [email protected] for further assistance."

    • Still available in WA

      • Im getting same error in 2000 :(

  • Videopro is $4950 or thereabouts if someone with giftcards wants to try JB for a pricematch.
There was a couple in stock in Toowoomba as of a couple of weeks ago when I looked and that was about all in SEQ.

  • -3

Its not even working, this promotion has for sure expired. Mods need to take it down. Spent too long trying to make it all work.

    • +2

      Just checked, it's still available

  • I paid roughly $6400 for a G4 83" at Harvey's during the last EOFY. Good Guys also agreed to the same price.

Its an excellent TV. The gallery series chassis looks so nice flush on the wall. Especially if you run the cables through the wall.

I reckon you could get a 83" G4 for mid 5s during EOFY. I know its a lot of money. But its so worth it if you watch things like F1 or play a lot of games.

    • Hi mate, I'm coming from a CX 77 inch and was wondering will I be able to use my existing universal wall mount or does the G series require the use of its own proprietary wall mount?

      • I don't know if you can use other universal wallmounts for the TV. But if you buy a G Series you receive both a desktop stand and the wallmount in the box.

    • Is the F1 broadcast in 4k?

      • +1

Yes, but on Kayo you only get 4K when the practice session / race is underway and in green flag conditions. All other times it is 1080p.

  • +1

daammmm wish I could get on the EPP :(

  • Question for any of the experts in the LG OLED sales cycles:

Looks like I have missed out on a 65" deal (got greedy and was hoping for $2200 or below, didn't pull trigger when it was $2400). I think they may be sold out most places now including direct from LG. Not keen on display model for an OLED as I know OLEDs have a limited lifespan.

Anyway, what's the go with C5 sales, I expect there will be deals for EOFY, how much you reckon a 65" C5 will go at EOFY, am I looking at waiting for black Friday to get a proper deal an on a C5? Guess I can keep saving my pennies, maybe can afford a 77" or a 65" G5 by Black Friday hahah.

  • Price has gone up. Post discount $4,971.73

    • +1

also no stock for most if AU of the 83 either…
