I'm in the market for a new laptop/AIO.

I've got some vouchers to spend. Across a few different models now, I've seen better/newer stock going for lower prices at OW or the manufacturer.

I remember JB being pretty decent on pricing in the past. Is this normal now or am I just interested in unlucky items?

    I've seen better/newer stock going for lower prices at OW or the manufacturer.

    JB is a big box electronics store and they have staff wages /commissions, margins and overheads to account for, so the prices they offer on a laptop* are usually not as competitive as buying directly from the manufacturer.

    • except for Apple, their products are priced consistently through reseller agreements so they are generally priced the same no matter which retailer you go to.

    You could always try your luck with price matching? I tend to have a better success rate with online chat team as opposed to f2f in branch staff though.

    Most of the bis box stores specials are run out / clearance models. OW and JB and BL will price match the other if they have stock in the store very easily.
