  • What’s makes Phillips hue exponentially better than say a mirabella genio which has been consistently around or below this price as standard?

Zigbee for one and finer control over colour, generally speaking.

Nothing does. Hue is expensive for what it is if you are not using the Hue hub

    • I know you pay a prominent for Hue but the app works on iOS well and it’s intervention with home kit.

I picked this up a few days ago and am happy with it. Automation works well with hue bridge but is an extra cost.

No diffusion so I’d only use it if not in direct view. And doesn’t do gradients (all beads will output the same colour at once).

  • whats the spacing between the LEDs?

    • I would say about 5cm apart, I’ve seen reviews that say doming between the 1 and 2 cm is a good density.
But for $59 …… and if you have a bridge already ….. you could accept a little less density.

  • Y’all think 3m will fit my 83’ tv ?

  • This vs TP-link Tapo? Interested in one of these that I probably won’t add other lights to. I’ve got a bunch of LIFX bulbs already but their strip lighting is crazy pricy.
