next to Liquorland, First Choice and Dan Murphy's fake "Frenzy" deals, which just jack up the price ($69) so the 15% off code makes it normal price ($60).

Amazon coming in with the real deals, they kept it $60 normal price and added a $12 off coupon making it the current price of the 700mL. pretty sure this price for the 1L hasn't happened since 2022.
I remember buying the 1L during or just before covid price rises. $50 something was regular price for these, with 10% off Liquorland sale it was around $48 I think, also remember paying $36 on amazon with $10 credit applied.

also last time round they had a coupon (I think I posted it for $58), after it was delivered the coupon was available again. so you could double dip on seperate orders.

      I mean logical isn't it.

      an alcoholic who buys 100 bottles per year, will care more about scrounging their overall % discount over a year because they probably can't help it and pay full price sometimes.
      compared to someone who rarely drinks and this is their first bottle of the year, they might even consider giving it a miss because not familiar the price.

      I admit I am pretty much in between (I didn't even know BWS had 36% cashback). but I recognize prices used to be way lower. deals like this barely happen anymore.

      afaik the double dipping is only possible with separate orders. and some might not even be targeted.

      I could be wrong but afaik coupons on amazon are always single use only, e.g. if you click apply coupon and add 3 to cart, discount only applies to 1.
      they also disappear if you remove the item from cart with coupon applied, I have had this happen a few times.

      that's how every single coupon has worked for me on amazon anyway.
