G'day gamers. Thought I'd share an update from my local JB Hi-Fi store at Chermside, QLD. They have kindly confirmed that they will be opening at 7.00am on the 5th of June for the Switch 2 launch. I have not seen this announced by JB themselves. Feel free to post any other locations who have also confirmed opening early. No paywall subscription needed for this one!
I preordered the series X from Telstra. It was sent the day before and I got it on release day. Hopefully the same for the switch 2

On a side question, the EB Games trade deal with your OG, OLED or Lite switch and 4 games, is the 4 games have to be all $10+ in value or is it any games
I think they've got a list of games you can trade. Something like this: https://imgur.com/a/eb-eligible-game-trade-list-KY8i5SR (note this list is probably out of date by now).
You can bring your games to a store and they'll check them for you. Usually all major titles are on the list, and it's possible to buy used ones cheap then trade in just for the deals. Though I'm not sure what's the value for these "deals" as you can sell reasonable-conditioned consoles for more than $200, let alone 4x games. Though I assume people do enjoy the certainty of trade-in programs.
The ps5 pro trade deal was decent as it was only 2 games of any value with the Ps5 OG

June 5th is a Thursday, here's hoping Telstra overnight ship our preorders and we get them Friday the 6th. I'm hoping Switch 2 will cure my chronic depression so I don't want to wait until after the weekend.
