it's also called the Powerport III 65W Pod which is what is actually printed on the charger.

I have this it's doing fine. only downside I hear is it's a bit long so can loosen itself if plugged into the wall. I keep it plugged vertically into powerboard so no issue.

65W max with single port only.
45W + 20W with USB-C 1 and USB-C 2.
40W + 22.5W with USB-C 1 and USB-A.
40W + 12W + 12W with all ports in use.

easy way to remember is never use the bottom two ports at the same time, the middle USB-C and USB-A are connected so you will only get 12W+ 12W.

Use One Port:
USB-C1 / USB-C2 :
5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 3.0A / 15.0V 3.0A
20.0V 3.25A (65.0W Max)
PPS: 3.3V-16.0V 3.25A Max (52.0W Max)
USB-A: 4.5V 5.0A / 5.0V 4.0A / 5.0V 4.5A
5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 2.0A / 12.0V 1.5A (22.5W Max)

Use Two Ports:
USB-C1 + USB-C2 :
USB-C1: 5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 3.0A / 15.0V 3.0A
20.0V 2.25A (45.0W Max)
PPS: 3.3V-16.0V 3.0A Max (45.0W Max)
USB-C2: 5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 2.22A (20.0W Max)
USB-C1 + USB-A:
USB-C1: 5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 3.0A / 15.0V 2.67A
20.0V 2.0A (40.0W Max)
PPS: 3.3V-16.0V 2.65A Max (40.0W Max)
USB-A: 4.5V 5.0A / 5.0V 4.0A / 5.0V 4.5A / 5.0V 3.0A
9.0V 2.0A / 12.0V 1.5A (22.5W Max)
USB-C2 + USB-A: 24.0W Max
Output

Use Three Ports:
USB1 + USB2 + USB3:
USB-C1: 5.0V 3.0A / 9.0V 3.0A / 15.0V 2.67A
20.0V 2.0A (40W Max)
PPS: 3.3V-16.0V 2.65A Max (40.0W Max)

I have this baby and its great. Gets a tad hot, but not like the other brands do. I have zero issues with it plugged in horizontally even with all three connectors in place. If you find that it slips out, you can bend the prongs in or out a fraction to stop this, as with any plug that slips out.

    • ok tbf some of the feedback that said this seemed to be from the US, which only has 2 prongs. Aus has 3 prongs and instead of vertical like the US ones the Aus prongs are diagonal so they might grip a bit better.

I read somewhere that anker started shipping their US ones with a silicone sleeve mount thing that held it up.

I do remember reading a comment on ozb though, someone said theirs did wiggle itself loose. not sure tbh could have yanked the cable a few times a bit without noticing I guess. 🤔

      ugreen 7.5 x 4.0 x 3.1 cm
      anker 6.6 x 3.9 x 2.9 cm

    • +2

i think the ugreen is slightly better or more wattage when using 1x C 1xA ?

    • ugreen sits side ways which could cover a second power point

      • +1

from the picture seems like might just fit.

but the 100W version is a design flaw though. blocks one socket each side. all they had to do is turn the plug part 90 degrees.

      • +2

It'll fit. I have tested this.

    • How is Ugreen brand compared to Anker?

      • +1

I have bought 5+ Ugreen products so far and quality-wise I prefer them over Anker. Haven't had any issues at all.

I got this one for $41.99 (with Amazon prime membership)
For those who want 100W but a slightly less reputable brand
      https://www.amazon.com.au/NOVOO-Charger-MacBook-3-Port-Compa…

      • Spec Value
        Input Voltage: 200 Volts (AC)
        Wattage: 100 watts
        Output Current: 2 Amps
        Output Voltage: 100 Volts

Whoever writes amazon charger specs has a cruisy job

  • +1

If you don't mind a larger chargers, then, this 120W Novoo charger for $12 more is a much better deal.

    https://amzn.asia/d/3P3Z4oF

It supports all charging protocols, including PPS, meaning it can charge Samsung and Google phones at full speed

    • +1

The Anker also has PPS and can Super Fast Charge Samsung/Google phones via USB-C Port 1.

The one you posted is comically large in comparison, and more expensive. You'd be better off saving the money and getting a better form factor via OP unless you are specifically wanting to charge a laptop.

Super Fast Charge Samsung/Google phones via USB-C Port 1.

I think the question for some users is can it do SFC or SFC2.0.

I thought I understood the SFC2.0 requirements but then I was told otherwise and so don't comment on it anymore.

is it with 5A (100W) supporting cable with only PPS 3.3V-11V, 5A? or PPS 3.3V-20V, 3A? I once thought you needed 20V/3A to negotiate (because Samsung's own 45W SFC2.0 charger spec is: PPS : 5.0-20.0 V, 3A), then it drops to PPS 9V/5A for 45W SFC2.0. I was told no it works with 11V. I was told no you need PPS 5A. I was told a number of other things are not required.
I was once told and quoted "these are definitely the actual requirements", only to be told no that doesn't work for someone else.
        I don't understand it anymore.

        • Too many minions use these terms SFC or SFC2.0 without knowing these are variable wattage specs. We're using PPS specs.
          I just remember the wattage.

          SFC = up to 25W
          SFC2.0 = up to 45W

How to get to 45W ? Look at the phone setting, about phone, status.
          A example S25 Ultra,
          - 10V 4.5A
          - 15V 3A <<< This Anker 65W will negotiate this power output, therefore 45W charging should work in the most ideal situation.

Take another example Tab S10 ultra,
          - 10V 4.5A <<< This Anker 65W can do max 3.25A so even if you see SFC2.0 on the screen, the most it'll negotiate is 32.5W.

          • @adventurer: okay so from what you say I think I understand it better.

so SFC compatibility is different depending on model?! so as you say plug it into included Samsung charger, make sure you get SFC2.0 animation, go to about phone>status and see what it shows there, that is the spec you need.
I thought Samsung would make their own standard work the same way across all phones but I was wrong.

it doesn't make it any easier by the fact those who want to know always ask "does it support SFC2.0?" when they should be asking "does it support SFC2.0 on S25 Ultra? (model)".

            • @n3ck3ntry8bort0rgasm: Don't get too hung up with these terms SFC or SFC2.0

They should be comparing the PPS specs of the charger, with the phone>status to match the capabilities.

              "Does it support 45W on a S25 Ultra" = Yes, full 45W

"Does it support 45W on a Tab S10 ultra" = No. device's support doesn't match charger, at most 32.5W

              • @adventurer:

Don't get too hung up with these terms SFC or SFC2.0

thank you for getting straight to the point. yes I should forget about those terms above.

instead Samsung users need to be checking the PPS spec that shows on their phone and match that with the charger specs. thank you. 🙏

    • Similar question, is Novoo a good brand?
I love 100w which can fast charge mobiles and USB c laptops too. Dont need a charger urgently as I have Anker 35w one, so Is 48 a good price to pay and this brand? I can see it goes to this price every month.

      • +1

I have two novoo gan chargers. Both 67w (one is 2 port the other is 3 port) to power my laptop and they are excellent. I recently bought the 3 port one on sale for $27.99 off Amazon. They come on sale regularly.

      • +1

This is $48.99 right now and has 2 cables included too.

I don't recommend this charger. It doesn't sit in the wall properly so have to use a power board and the middle USB-C charge port has failed within the first couple months of use on mine.

  • The Anker 735 GaNPrime charger is better then Anker 735 Nano II charger (this one)

    • But how much more?

    • +1

      It's also not $36

The differences are marginal at best

  • Have two of these and have had no issues with either of them in terms of plugging them horizontally into a wall socket. Both fit very snug with no wiggle at all. Only ever use to charge laptops so cant comment on using 2 or 3 ports concurrently. Overall very happy with purchase

Used this bad boy on several international flights paired with my ROG Ally. Definitely gets hot as others have said, but not uncomfortably so. Worked a treat!
