$2,300 for a 4060Ti build seems terrible value compared to prebuilds less than half that: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/4060%20ti

But we don't know what you want to use the machine for or why you made specific parts decisions.

    • true but i want a mobo/cpu so i can upgrade my video card or cpu in the future
most of the prebuild come with 1tb SSD, when i customise it, ends up being higher / they refuse to upgrade

You can save nearly $187 on that build easily. Get a Windows 10 pro key and get the free upgrade to Win11pro

https://massgrave.dev/ for your Windows OS needs, don't buy a key

A Ryzen 8000 series is an odd choice if you're using a dedicated GPU, either go for a 7000 or 9000

What GPU are you planning to upgrade to in the future? You don't need an 850W for a 4060 Ti. And 8GB VRAM will be extremely limiting going forwards, even at 1080p if you want to play the latest titles.

    • what model from 7000 or 9000 you reckon i should go with instead?

What GPU are you planning to upgrade to in the future?

for GTA 6 PC (whenever that is haha)

      • As said in your previous post, if you really are only building the PC for GTA 6 (and you're not interested in playing any other PC games till 6's release), you'll be better off building closer to launch date. The past few months especially has been a terrible time to buy GPUs, let alone build a whole system

Ryzen 5 7600 is normally recommended and for good reason, though again, the PC landscape will look different in a year or two's time when GTA 6 drops. If you're set on building now, there may be other viable Ryzen options though, do your own research too

        • yeah i was thinking of holding off but my current PC is 8 yrs ago, and my windows 10 is end of life so want to upgrade now and maybe in 2 yrs time i can upgrade some components. The pre-build pc tend to have good deals atm but dont give me option for mobo / ssd :(

You're a little bit off but on the right track
CPU - for AMD go odd numbers for desktop ie. 5xxx, 7xxx or 9xxx - not the 8600G you've selected
you're overspending on: CPU cooler, motherboard, windows.

    here's a build that's $300 cheaper and has much more performance (7600x with a RTX4070).
Adjust the parts to your liking obviously but I'd be going something closer to this. I'd probably choose a different mobo but around $200 would be the target - just do your research there.

If you're looking at upgrading the GPU in the future best to get a good CPU now then, get at least 8 core, or ideally a 7800x3d or 9800x3d if you budget allows

As others have recommended, you can save on the Windows key. If you can also wait another year or two for GTA 6, GPU prices should be much better.

Here's an all white pc for a similar price.
