It's been an absolutely bumper prawn season with all this rain.
Can you buy tiger prawns shelled and deveined?
Jumbo shelled vannamei prawns are around the same price per kg, once you lose half the weight of these, and much less effort :-)
can't suck the brains out of a peeled prawn now can you.
Vannamei prawns are primarily farmed in intensive land-based ponds, mostly in the Mekong Delta.
