  I already had it from a previous deal and had to grab the DLC.

        I think you might be mixing up AppIDs and SubIDs, or how they work.

        Each app only has 1 AppID, but a SubID (package) can include multiple AppIDs.

          @HomeAlone: I think I get it, if you were able to claim the game with the link from the other deal (https://store.steampowered.com/app/489630/Warhammer_40000_Gl…) then you got the DLC as well.

          But since I had already had the base game in my library, I had to use the link in this deal to get the DLC.

  Genuinely love Gladius. It plays similar to Civ 5 (maybe others in the series but 5 is the only one I've really played a lot of) however without any of the diplomacy. Just all out war. Base game is more than enough to dip your toes into 40K games or turn based strategy. Wouldn't bother with any DLC unless there is a I would actually turn Lord of Skulls DLC off, can be done in the game setup menu, for the first few games as that unit is way too strong for someone learning the game.

  Gladius also has a good community around it. Lots of mods in the steam workshop. I only play single player so cannot comment on multiplayer. Great game for parents, all turn based so can getup and go if kids wake up during that late night gaming session. Plus as there is no diplomacy easy to resume a game midway through, just start killing again.
