I tried 3 different wireless carplay adapters from amazon but they all sucked with intermittent connectivity issues.
Can someone please recommend one that is more reliable and just works?

Also too expensive at $115.. I went with Ottocast for $70 as per recommendation below. Hopefully won’t have any issues.

The ottocast was definitely $35 on Amazon a few weeks back.
Newer pro version is around $70 on sale.
Think I paid around $30 grey market for the original one last year. It's basic but rock solid.
Amazon.. i’d rather buy from them for the easy return. Aliexpress once mucked around for cheap cables that were DOA. I never shop there now.
@Save 50 Cent: AliExpress have picked their game up since temu appeared. I get choice products delivered to regional Vic in a week and a recent issue was resolved immediately.

I got this one from Amazon $35 ish delivered and it’s been very fast and reliable

Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and roll your own. Been using mine on a car that doesn’t support wireless and these have been pretty flawless. Got the idea for an other member on here who did the same. About $50 in parts and I’m happy to share my 3D printer file if you have a 3D printer to print a case for it.

Old micro SD card (2~4gb would work)
A PC to write the SD card imageGot one of these and so far so good - doesnt drop out unlike a Motorola unit I gave up on.

I have a CarlinKit 3.0. It's fine.. no connectivity issues but the small wireless lag is too annoying to get used to, so ended up just going back to wired.
