??! This is only "cheap", if you are used to paying inflated "farmers market" pricing.
Where can you buy honey for less?
Great question considering the amount of non 100% honey out there marketed as 100% honey
Make sure you only purchase Pure Australian Honey.
Costco usually has 1kg honey for $10 or under when they have specials
I got 2kg there the other day for $15
How to check that it is pure honey or someyhing is already added in that. There are so many honey brands and all of them advertising them as a 100% honey.
All you can do as a consumer is avoid anything not 100% Australian.
Also a good indicator is the honey will crystallise/solidify in winter when the ambient temperature drops below 20.
If it stays a liquid, it may still be 100% honey but it's gone through a high heat extraction and pretty much destroyed a lot of the beneficial bacteria in the honey. Or its had sugar/fructose syrup added which doesn't solidify vs raw untreated honey.
wow cheap is it real
