They are currently doing a promotion at the store in Hurstville (right outside station).
It is a rather long buy1get1free promotion, so plenty of time to grab one.

I bought one a couple of days ago. They were extremely busy - had run out of tapioca pearls…. and didn't have red bean to make the QQMilk tea out of. They were apologetic > but not a good initial impression.

I bought the Chocolate icy drink > it tasted either burnt or had nuts in it. I worry whether there is any or not for people who may have allergies and will alert them next time i'm there.

The QQ milk tea was average at best. I will probably continue to shop at Ezyway…

But for Ozbargainers that want to try something new at around $2.50 a drink (as you will get two), sure why not! be a little adventurous. :)

be careful not to drink to much, its not good for you! pearl balls are the equivalent of eating plastic and the milk… well is not all so natural.

Germans think so.. and aussies too

The update on that link says the claim is disputed. Not sure who to trust here.

I do not think you have to worry about plastic.
Sugar however… Pearl tea has about 1.5 to 2 times as much sugar as Coke.

Picture of the flyer they are giving out, which lists the drinks eligible for BOGOF. Apologies for quality.

Milk tea is superior to easyway, and on par with chatime. Worth trying.
