  • Does anyone know how many times I need to refill or change the water when cleaning a 200 sqm floor? I don't think it's suitable for laminate flooring.

I’ve used it on engineered wood. Works great for light mopping. Very minimal water residue.

Reviews on this are not generally complimentary.

    • I think most reviewers expect it to act like a steam mop, which it is not.

  • how does this compare to the HIZERO?

    • +3

I’ve both. Hizero uses a dense foam roller which is grippy. So it picks up dirt and food and the internal roller brush wipes it off immediately into the tray. Seems better at handling messy food.

Because it’s grippy, the Hizero also pulls forward on its own when turned on. You will have to mop at the pace of the motor. With the Dyson, the microfibre rollers slide over the floor easily, so you can move the mop head as quickly you please. The Dyson’s mop head is also much more manoeuvrable, making it easy to lightly mop a large area quickly. I wouldn’t use the Hizero for a large area.

Haven’t had them long enough to determine which is best, but it’s worth noting that Hizero’s replacement foam rollers and roller brushes are expensive ($50 each, so $100 total). For the Dyson you only need to replace the microfibre tollers ($50 total).
