Is it me, or was this $4? Now it's $8 double. Did they think no one would notice? I remember buying this when Silky & Smooth wasn't on sale and even then, I only bought it as a second choice.
Wow! I stopped when it got to $5… Aldi's Alcafe is a good substitute… jar is identical, tastes the same… $3.89.
Feeze-dried coffee has a good shelf life. Get the 400g Moccona or Vittoria when on special - Vittoria now as in first post.
Just transfer to a smaller jar so you are not opening the big one so often, letting moisture in.
Reality check….. petrol was half the current price a years ago too.
It was advertised and in the news, Inflation is a real thing, and Coffee prices went up. As is often the case, new product prices are not forever either.
It has not been $4 for eons. I miss it at that price too, but i simply buy Smooth n Creamy when on 1/2 price, and buy enough to last as per the discounting cycle, like every other product on every discount cycle.
Rest assured if you don't fall into the 'Organic' trap, there are still a few varieties on the shelf at $4 per 100g still.
What is this Silky & Smooth… I cannot find a record of it anywhere online?
