A few days ago I saw KMALL09 Lidcombe have Black Shin Ramyun for $19.99 a box 20 but 14Aug25 expire date, so didn't buy and this normal one $2.99 a bit longer expire date.

    • Here the photo, good if you don't mind short expire date.

Good if you want to shorten your own expire date

        • Agree they are very unhealthy.
Bad idea buying that many at once, you'll be eating them way too often especially if expiring lol.

    • Saw it at Eastwood two weeks ago and it's on their website so maybe all stores?

    Does expire date really matter?

For the dehydrated noodle cake, not really. Some of the seasonings probably would go a bit weird depending on how far out of date

      • i'd say it's more of a a 'best before' date than expiry as seasoning is ground up spices and stuff and the vegetable mix is dehydrated

        • Definitely a best before, but that's for safety not taste lol. Is there no oil emulsion sachet in this? That's probably the first thing to go weird

    • Some may taste a bit difference

      • I figure the more spicy ones won't

        • more spicy ones won't

Maybe, but I bought some Nissin noodles from Amazon near expire date, the noodle itself had some not very good smell, like old smell, don't know how to describe it.

          • @superforever: Probably the smell of old oil edit: (i just pressed reply dunno why it @)

No, the best before on these instant noodles are insignificant.

      • These instant noodles are fried in oil.

        Oil will eventually go rancid

    Love the flavour.

    • and the chewy texture of the noodles are the best, the other brands are not as good

  • $3.70 at Goseumoseu Pitt St

    • Grabbed 2 today after seeing it $8 at Coles/

  • $5 on sale at at Colesworth every other week.

    • This promo is $7 for 2 packs (10 pcs), so $3.5/pack (cheaper than Colesworth). This place is not far to walk from my home, so a good deal for me :P

      • I sped read the title, 1 for $4.99. Some people don't want 2, or stuff close to best before.
That's good, not everyone lives there but i'm sure it would benefit a few people.

Anyway it's easy enough grabbing whenever on special at colesworth.

    $2.40 for 5
    on Eastwood

    Expire on July.2025 though

    • Yeah I was just about to comment. The new supermarket where Aldi used to be at has this price atm.

Got a whole box for $18.80

  • I already have a box from Costco 😬. Only eat it on weekends.

  • Saw $2.70, $2.40 at two various K groceries in Ewoo today.
