  • Im looking for a travel stroller that can also be used for general everyday use. Is this or Skip 3 better?

    • +1

We have had this for the past year and a half really love it. It's been great for travel, really small so perfect to leave on the car and for travelling. As for an every day stroller we have a larger one that we effectively stops using when we purchased this. Like all travel strollers, this has a small basket and doesn't fit a nappy bag in so you'll have to carry one or loosely put everything in the basket. We haven't found this to be a problem but its personal preference really. The best thing about this is the one handed folding and opening which for us was and is really important and for the price this is a great option and the leg rest is a must have.

Also the 10 year transferable warranty is a bonis, we had a probably with the frame and there customer service was excellent, I sent in some photos and explain the problem and the sent out a replacement frame the next day.

  • Web site has a PayPal icon among paying options, although I couldn’t find PayPal in options to pay once checking out. That’s a stopping factor.

  • This vs yoyo 3?

    • +2

We had the yoyo 2 and ended up trading it for the aer+. My wife preferred the easier one handed fold. The yoyo 3 feels a bit more sturdy but we havent had any issues with the aer+. Plus it comes with a 10 year warranty after registering it.

    • We have two Yoyos (a Yoyo+ and a Yoyo 2), and a Joolz Geo 2.

In my personal opinion, the Aer+ is a better pram. The Yoyo is tried and tested, and it is solid. But the Aer has some nicer newer features that make it better (like easier fold, belly bar that folds with the pram, etc).

BUT, the dealbreaker for me is the bulky one-handed fold mechanism is right in the middle of the handle - this makes it awkward and uncomfortable for me to push the pram one handed (which I do probably 90% of the time). YMMV, but it is a dealbreaker for me.

If you dont push the pram one-handed / have big enough hands for the central placement of the mechanism not to be an issue, then I would go Aer+ over Yoyo personally.

My suggestion would be to try both prams for yourself in store, and see for yourself which you prefer!

(Fwiw, personally, I would buy secondhand off marketplace.)

  • This or butterfly ?

    • Definitely see a lot more butterflies around

    • +2

This has better newborn capabilities and is lighter. Butterfly a bit more heavy but sturdy

New models of joolz aer and butterfly coming out soon. Do your research

    • aer 2 is heavier it seems

It goes on sale on Amazon sometimes, and with the 15% Baby Wishlist discount, it drops to around $450
