Hi Guys, came across a 50 inch Philips TV at JB Hi-Fi.
Saw a past thread in OzBargain about a Philips TV where I learned the Philips name was sold to Chinese. With warranty of 3 years it looks better than Ffalcon brand which has only 1 year warranty for a bit more cost.
Anyone with experience of this brand? Is it reliable? Had any warranty experience?

My only purchased Philips tv was returned due to high pitch noise. It was a 68cm CRT bought from Brashs' though…..

Had my Philips 55" for 5 years with no issues. Was just a cheapie but has great sound and picture quality. I don't use a sound bar. Friends with much more expensive TVs, and even bigger screens often comment on the great picture quality of my Philips.

Which started out as AOC monitors, so probably around that quality.
I have my eye on the Phillips 77"OLED, although it seems to miss the Ambilight feature
It's a low-end TV. It'll be fine for basic use just like any similar set. Expect tinny poor sound, poor HDR (incl possible bleed), and a laggy CPU for the built-in smart features (fixed with an Apple TV/Chromecast/Fire stick etc.) Again standard fare at this price point.
Any warranty or guarantee issues, you go through JB HiFi as the retailer you purchased from.
