Apple Watch (Doesn't Have to Be Latest Model)

GM Guys, I am looking for Apple Watch (doesn't have to be latest model).
Noticed BigW has Apple Watch 10 42mm GPS $499 in 10days, so that's my option too.
But if I get any decent Apple watch around $300 which could be compatible with my IPhone 16 would be great.
Thanks.

Check apple refurb. I got my s8 from there at a discounted price:

  • I believe Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) is best value for money at this stage as balance of everyday use & great value.
I dont think the upcoming BIGW and OW deal in next 4 days covers Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen).
So wondering where is the best place to buy currently?

  • I did a ton of research into Apple Watches last year and settled on a refurbished stainless steel series 8 as the best value.

I think it was a steal at $480 in brand new condition. The durability of the steel body and sapphire glass can't be overstated, after 18 months of daily use (plus ~2 years from the previous owner), you'd have to put it under a spotlight and magnifying glass to see any imperfections.

Today I'd argue the S9/S10 don't really have any defining features that puts them above the S8. Unless you have real niche hobbies like diving/hiking, or use Siri many many times per day and benefit from on-device processing.

Start with Apple's comparison tool to decide which features are must-haves for you and work from there.

  • Following up after getting Loop Mobile eBay to fix their pricing on late model Apple Watches. They had pricing errors across the Series 8 and Series 9, a stainless steel series 8 was $1050 so I knew something was up.

Now they've fixed it you can get that same 'Very Good' steel Series 8 for $379, Series 9 for $459. I don't think you can get better value than that.
