Doesn't seem to be dishwasher safe basket so probably coating will flake off like there others I've returned .

    • Not dishwasher safe is a no go for me

      • Are the philips ones dishwasher safe?

If so I never knew, that would take alot of headache out of the equation

        • They sure are. I pop mine in the dishwasher after each use

@Grannular: The Healthy Choice we got says it is too in its manual. The water takes a while to go from the basket window, but after a use or two it's no longer foggy.

    • Where does it say that?

      Edit: written in the manual

You sold me at ‘See Through Air Fryer’

  • Tempted, as Philips largest XXXL is only 8.3L

    • Are you pupping in a turkey or piglet?

        Smallish human.

    • If you don't need see thru, this one at 12L for $90 is a bigger bang for the buck.

Transparent window will eventually look janky unless you clean it after every use. Useless feature on an air fryer IMHO.

Well…yes, as with everything used in the kitchen under heat. I prefer a glass front so I can visually check for surface colour while frying without having to open the basket and losing heat.

      • This a a better option if you want a real see through Air Fryer & only $57 at Kmart.

And no non-stick chemicals to worry about either.

@wisdomtooth: Damn I've got an Aldi one & it's awesome. Been using it for years. Cooks a whole chicken and veg all at once really well.

            • @WatchNerd: Why do you use it instead of your oven for that? Are you in an RV or tiny house?

The reviews there have been below 3 for 3 years. Some people love it (5), lots hate it (9).

              • @wisdomtooth: The same reasons people use air fryers. It's faster & cooks it really well.

                I live in a tent.

    • You don't… clean it after every use? 😳

      • If I do marinated chicken or anything messy then yes but not when I do chips or roast vegetables etc.

  • Any dishwasher safe recommendations

We got the 8L Healthy Choice one for $90 from Amazon. The manual says the basket is dishwasher safe, and we have put it for washing a few times without any dramas.
