I'm looking for basically a second sim (esim preferably) to have on my phone to get OTPs and verify mobile number when signing up to random things, like Guzman, various deals etc, so I can setup a new account… I can't seem to find any that don't cost a lot.
I see Aldi has a PAYG $5 which gives you 60 days, but they only do physical sim and it's still $2.50/month for just a number to receive text on… anyone got any suggestions?

edit: hm seems to not mention re standard plan what the minimum activation credit is so not sure if it's still $2 esim + $5 activation, may be $10 based on the minimum recharge amount.

Aldi (SIM) used to be $5 start (good for a year) then $15 per year. Has that changed?
I just did an AldiMobile $15 top up. No problems.
Personally, I can't wait for Aldi to do eSIMs for my SS 6 watch.
