Does anyone know why Kogan has such different prices for the different colours of the phone recently?

Take for example the Samsung Galaxy I9300 16gb S3 for red: It is going for a whopping $639.
However, if you switch it to a blue one, it is a mere $499.

In the past, I don't think the price differences in the colours were anywhere near this big

I wonder why Kogan thinks people would pay an extra $130 just for red?

  • probably because they have less red models compared to the blue?

    • I thought about that one too. But a quick check on staticice saw other stores selling the red models for just $520, which is a huge difference for the same model. Seems very anti-competitively priced in that sense

  • +2

Didnt you guys know…. red goes faster……:)

    • But blue burns hotter! :)
