Hi OzBargainers, after running out multiple bottles of Happy Endings bought on OzBargain a few years ago - I have gone to re-order and realised the current price of this product is $65-$70ish per bottle.
Has anyone got any real life experience with alternative/similar product (which is cheaper) and can be applied using a spray cannon? Or is it best to stump up the very un-OzBargain like retail price of $65 for another bottle of this great product?

How much are you going to save by using a cheaper product? $20? Will it be worth it for that? You know the happy ending you have been getting has been worth it.
So wait for it to come on sale. Bowens products come on sale often at major places like supercheap/repco etc. So just keep an eye out for one.
Never buy car care products unless they're on sale. All of the chains have regular sales so 20% off should be easy to get.

Carpro Hydro2 foam marginally cheaper at $59. Also comes in 4L size for $199. It's a wash and protection in one so may save a step and product in your line up.
There's also vanilla hydro2 concentrate, which can be cost effective. Not sure if it can be used in a foam cannon though.
If you're in the market for something else, I use turtle wax graphene flex wax, spray on and wipe off and it's actually lasted 5 months so far on sale was like 30bucks. Had a trackday with it and daily driven. Haven't actually washed the car in 5 months due to a newborn but heavy rain washed all the dirt off this week except the side skirts with road tar.
