Can't go wrong with $39. The worse case scenario, let your dog chew the shoes as toys or hide your diamond rings or crypto wallet key in them, and disguise them as worthless pair of running shoes.

Sure you can go wrong for $39 - just as you can with the $30 Adidas cloudfoam shoes that have been here a couple of times.
Yes, they're wearable (I have them) and definitely cheap and if that's all you're looking at then great.
But the Adidas are garbage in compared to, say, full leather Reebok Club C that regularly go on sale at Hype DC for $59.
As these NB seem to have the same all plastic, all mesh construction as the Adidas - I don't think they'll be much better.
After checking out some reviews, the general consensus seems to be that you should order 0.5-1 size bigger.

'sport lifestyle' = casual shoes
The bigger number doesn’t mean it’s their higher models. The 1440 for example is a much lower grade shoe.
