I'm hoping that someone can help me with a long running Amaysim issue.
My work mobile phone is with amaysim. For many months I have been having an intermittent issue when I try to send a text to (as far as I've been able to work out) just Optus mobile numbers. I'll receive an error message from Optus: Your message couldn't be delivered due to insufficient credit or inclusions for this message type. Check your plan inclusions to learn more". I first contacted tech support several months ago. After many hours chatting and talking to tech support, and eventually giving them some encouragement by contacting the ombudsman, they apparently fixed the problem by getting me to enter numbers with the +61 prefix. And all was well for about a month, and now the issue is happening again (using the +61 prefix doesn't help). The fault is independent of the mobile phone (still happens when I swap the SIM to a different brand of mobile).
Just putting this out there hoping that someone knows how I can avoid many more hours talking to tech support
Thanks
If it is work mobile phone, why not engage via telephony provider to either fix it or get a new sim card. Are there other people who have the same issue? Have you tried a different phone?
