The value here is for the marble run aspect. Picasso tiles are far more value otherwise (and great quality)
You are 100% correct, however, I will say that Connetix has stronger magnets and the pieces hold together ridiculously strongly, and they also have unique shapes that Picasso doesn't have (we have multiple sets of both brands).
Cheap for Connetix but there are cheaper alternatives which are similar (Picasso Tiles are pretty good, Kmart ones are not so good).
But 92 pieces isn't enough.
