DOT5 for the true mans man :)
It does get included in Myer/DJ sales
CW currently has the 60ml Parfum on sale $140
Compare that to the everyday price of the Toilette 60ml at $140
Thanks for this… What's the difference between the 2?
I always prefer the Parfums. Longer lasting in both scent and use. They are dab on. If it's a spray bottle, spray close to wrist 1, then dab to wrist 2, neck etc. A good parfum will easily smell 8 hours and change over that time.
Toilettes are essentially body sprays. Short lasting, maybe 2 hours, hit the clothes, as a result you burn through it fast.
Depends on occasion, who it is etc. Personally I'd get Sauvage in the EDP as I would assume it's for a man who is working and would appreciate a longer lasting scent
Oh, that's really interesting! Thanks for that info :)
I had bought this sampler pack, and the Dior was the most popular one, but it's the toilette - so maybe we'll try the perfume if you say it's better overall!
1 STAR
Unhappy with my order, Came later than expected! Only purchased it as my other Dior Sauvage de toilette was about to finish. When I received this order didn’t smell like Dior Sauvage, Also wouldn’t last 2 minutes and this is supposed to be stronger because it’s eau de parfume. Wouldn’t recommend buying!
The percentage of actual perfume in the bottle: https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/255280/122079/what-is-…
The rest is just water/filler.
Woah…
Eau de parfum is the concentrate, so more intense and lasts longer. It's often used for evenings.
Eau de toilette is just a bit lighter, and mostly used for day wear, particularly if you're in an office where people don't always appreciate strong perfumes.
If you're buying genuine Dior, Guerlain, etc., both will be long-lasting on the skin.
In a nut-shell, au de parfum/ parfum a more concentrated perfume, while au de toilette is a slighty watered down version of the perfum… when i saw watered down, not with water, but with alcohol, which tends to havd an expiration date, making the fragrance go “off” after a few years if not all used up
Generally my Dolce Vita EDT is still fine after 'use by date', but I keep it in a drawer out of the light and heat, which helps.
Don't waste your money on the EDT, go with the EDP. Way better
$184 for the 100ml EDP at David Jones it's a good deal (the 20% off ends today)

Thanks!
What's the difference between EDP and Parfum by itself? Seeing that DJ have both
These things are for non-Alpha men.
I'm guessing an alpha man told you that, as you served their drinks.
Real men use 100% pure refined brake fluid, very smooth to apply.
