My deal gets a Positive vote from me automatically - Is this a setting somewhere?

Hi,
I have only posted a few deals and although I think they are good deals (otherwise I would not have posted them in the first place) and would vote +1 anyway for them, the deal automatically gets a positive vote from me as soon as it is published!

I have noticed that other deals have 0 votes, so others must not have that automatically set up?

Can I turn it off?

    No, why would you post something that you don't think is a good deal? Why do you even want to turn it off. Sounds pretty silly to post something that you wouldn't give a positive yourself.

    Deals posted by reps don't automatically get a +1, as he is a rep of the store it may not be a good deal in that he is just trying to promote his store.

    Reps start at 0.

    Users start at 1. If you wouldn't vote for it, you shouldn't post it. You can revoke your vote after posting (in the votes tab) but that doesn't exactly inspire confidence in your posted deal to others.

    I figured that - thanks for the info.

    I just hadn't noticed that it was the rep posts that have the zero starting votes.
