Decent prices for refurbished Aerons. Less than asking on Facebook Marketplace

    Ouch, $200 shipping to SA

    • Aerons are deceptively heavy. I often forget and get a ride surprise when I pick mine up

      • Yep I totally get it especially when they're already assembled. Decent office chairs are pretty big and heavy.

Steelcase prices aren't good. Significantly more than Marketplace and other used chair places (at least in Sydney). I picked up a Steelcase Leap V2 in really good condition recently for $225 from a used furniture mob in Waterloo.

The Aeron Classic Size B with the Lumbar Pad at $1150 seems a bit expensive for a product that originally came out in 1994.
    - A few months ago they had the Aeron Classic Size C with PostureFit - Sacrum for $950 on Gumtree

The newer Aeron Remastered with the PostureFit SL - Sacrum and Lumbar at $1100 is definitely worth the purchase.

  • Hi @vincelu

Do you have an Aeron in size c?

    This site needs better transparency:
    * There is a 10% tax that isn't included in the sale. You'll see this at checkout
    * Shipping isn't available for the Aeron PostureFit SL and Setu and is pickup only for their store in Milperra NSW
    * The Embody, Aeron Classic and Steelcase chairs are the only ones available for delivery according to the description

Just saw the tax is added at checkout - totally misleading!

      Misleading price displays

Businesses should communicate the total price payable in some way prior to purchase. Businesses may communicate their prices in a range of ways. This includes:

      -in-store labels or signage
      -online notifications
      -ordering apps, or
      -verbally.

Businesses must not display prices that are wrong or likely to create a false impression. This includes prices displayed in store, in advertising, or whenever communicating with customers.

Businesses must display a total price that includes taxes, duties and all unavoidable or pre-selected extra fees.

Yeah I'll revoke my vote then. We're not America, GST should always be included

      • Yeah, I didn't neg before because the prices were bad but I will for deceptive practices
