Porting from Lebara to Lyca and Back to Get The New Customer Benefit

Hi,

I am with Lebara for the last 10 plus years.

The 360 days Lebara recharge is for $200 while the same with Lyca for new customers is $150. I am thinking to port from Lebara to Lyca and then after 360 days are over I will port back to Lebara to get the benefit of new customer plan. I just need around 10GB-15GB monthly data and free international calls in Asia.

Has anyone tried this before and is it smooth? Also I never had issues with Lebara in Sydney, any ideas about how is Lyca in Sydney

Regards
TH

You will have absolutely no issues at all. I've ported in and out of Lebara inside of 30 days multiple times.

For quite a long time I used to do Boost > Lebara > Boost > Lebara > Boost > Lebara.

You can port as often as you like on these prepaid deals and you'll be considered a new customer each time.

Since Lyca moved from using the Telstra Wholesale network to the TPG / Vodafone network, the coverage should be identical to Lebara. (Data performance might be different, since Lyca do things differently to most MVNO's.)

But would I port my main number to Lyca, with a view to later porting out? Hell no! Have a read of some of the Lyca-related deals.
