I've been looking at these for a couple of weeks. The 7P is meant to be better due to the included multifunctional module, which adds features like a built-in extension rod, tripod, DJI Mic Mini receiver, and an adjustable light. The 7P also features a side-mounted control dial for zoom and focus, while the 7 has a dedicated zoom slider.

  • i paid the $220 full price. does its job well.

    • yeah I have it too, it's great.

  • Do you have to use their app? How many dji apps are “dodgy” enough to be removed from google play?

    • +1

if its anything like previous models

it can be used a mechanical gimbal but most of the features require use of the app

additionally android phones app will lack features in comparison to IOS users

      • if what you describe was how it used to be, it isn't like that anymore.

  • It has its own camera now? They've really tricked these things out.

    • +1

No camera with this one but the dji osmo pocket 3 does and a mini screen, no need for a phone.

      • The clip on flash attachment looks to have a camera? Not for filming, but to help with stabilisation, I think.

    • Only for gesture recognition/subject tracking (no longer reliant on using DJI app) but does not record.

  • -1

Its for gesture control and I think there may be a mic in it.

    • It sounds like it's a receiver for DJI wireless mics, but isn't a mic itself.

  • Yeah if you are looking for all of these functions in one the creator kit with pocket 3 is the way to go, just costs 4x as much.

  • Anyone tried this on latest samsung Galaxy phones(S25 ultra etc)? What is your experiance like? There are lots of positive rewiews with iphones.

  • The price has expired. Now it costs $200.72.

    • Hmm showing as 189 for me?
