Was shopping around for new sneakers and found these for a solid price.
Last time this was posted for $162 (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/880420) many people got orders cancelled because of an dud promo code.

How do they compare to Ultraboosts, less rebound?
From what I've read, they're much more of a casual running shoe / all rounder running shoe, whereas the UBs are more geared to almost lifestyle.
for lifestyle i would go for this, tho im not sure how long before they bottom out, as usual with soft foams
That's unfortunately the trade-off. It's like soft compound rubber tyres, best grip, but low longevity as a result. Really depends if comfort and easy on the knees are important or not to the buyer.
Have an older version, they definitely wear out very fast but very comfy even for lifestyle shoes.
Crazy! I use these for running and got over 1000km out of them.
@moggyx: Its more when you use them for casual wear, the sides get cut and worn out very easily, so looks very worn. It was just my interpretation of that word.
mid-foot striker here. Forefoot lost 80% of cushioning after 400km. Feel dead after 600km
Best all around walking shoe, great price for a really good walking and travel shoe
Most comfortable shoe ever. But a bit hot for summer. Might get another pair as I’m using mine all the time for both running and walking.
oh hell yeah that sea salt indigo combo goes hard.
but i hardly use my 1080 v12 enough as is…hmm
If you have bupa it comes down to $134.40
Can you please share how?
Go through the life rewards portal in bupa
yeah same I got Grey Matter with Morel and Black Cement for $134.40 through Bupa (not all colours come to this price)

Do you know if it is true to size or 1/2 up? I got issue with their 1080 v10 and havent bought new version yet.
i have a pair and i went TTS and they fit perfectly
I had to size 1/2 up and go wide. They fit narrow imo
I usually wear US8 (nike, some NB, asics) or US7.5 (adidas). Bought the 1080 US8 first and there narrow. Swapped to US8 wide at shop. A bit too wide but acceptable.
Should have tried the US8.5 normal width
For my 1080 v13 I had to go 1/2 a size up
These are the most comfortable shoes for overall walking and non-competitive running that I've found! The foam is the softest, and the most comfortable among the different brands and I've tried the Hoka Bondi, ASICS, Adidas, Puma equivalent etc. If you're after energy return, this is not it, but this would be great for holidays walking 20k steps a day etc.
These have been my primary option daily drivers since release in October last year. I have other options for running and wouldn't recommend them as a running shoe, but for me they're an excellent walking shoe. After (a conservative estimate of) a million steps, I'm very happy with their resilience and longevity. I am tall and heavy but they don't feel like they're close to bottoming out or losing shape. They have settled, but the cushioning and comfort is still some of the best I've found.
The two big notes for me: they have a tendency to push me onto the ball of my foot so I've had to monitor and adjust my gait and stance accordingly (but I honestly find that beneficial so ymmv). And I've found that they will accentuate whatever inward or outward roll your foot might have, particularly before they settle, so a good width fit is essential (I usually take a close-hugging 11 but I found an 11 wide was better for me in this case).
Really couldn't recommend them more highly though. And some of the colour ways are sweet.
Any discounts on older versions?
How many km are people having with these? I have about 350km probably and it feels a bit dead. I can probably push it to 500km, but my feet and knees feel a bit achy, so ill probably retire them to walking shoes
Any user recommendations vs Pegasus 40/41?
I haven't been happy with rapid sole wear rate in my peg 40s and also issues with heel airbag squeaks after ~6months use.
My Pegasus are squeaking at the heel too, driving me mad. I never really liked them as running shoes, too narrow. Just use them for walking now but the squeaks are annoying.
These are far more comfortable and the foam is amazing. I love them.
Totally different shoe compared to the Pegasus. Personally, I took my Pegasus 40 out of my shoe rotation after 100km.
Was giving me knee pain… To me it's a lifestyle shoe, the foam isn't very supportive at all.
Similar to my current $90 Fresh Foam X Vongo v5 ?
yes similar to my $60 Fresh Foam X Vongo v6, there were some bargains in the catch close down
1080 is a neutral shoe
vongo for runners who need stability
otherwise they are very similar shoes
(I decided not to use my vongo's, I will sell them on)
Thank you
Yep sold my vongo from catch for a profit, we’re so alike just picked the same colour also man.
‘Grey Matter with Morel and Black Cement’
showing $270 still
Only certain colours are discounted.
Very comfortable and cushioned, good recovery run shoes.
Bit heavy for anything faster than tempo runs in my experience.
