    • Had to google OTR. Wasn't there when I visited Adelaide.

      • Previously known as 'On The Run', started in 1999 according to Google. They are everywhere here, close to 200? Like 7/11 in the eastern states.

        • It was there then lol

        • Just noticed that OTR stores are in Perth too when I was checking fuel prices. I would have driven past them but didn't know they are OTR.

          • @trixieb: Interesting, might have something to do with the sale of OTR to Viva Energy (shell fuel).

Prior to that they were owned by a SA family and the only stores outside of SA were in rural VIC near the border.

          • @trixieb: Looks like it was just before. In 2022.

Also in 2022, OTR opened its first Western Australia store in Roleystone, Perth, which was co-branded with Caltex rather than BP.[16][17]

In early 2023, OTR acquired 17 Puma Energy service stations in the Northern Territory and Western Australia from Chevron Corporation, which also owns the Caltex fuel brand;[18][19] Caltex fuel would be supplied to these stations. In June 2023, the first New South Wales OTR opened at a Shell-branded station in Lane Cove.[20]

            Sale to Viva Energy
In April 2023, Viva Energy, who owned the Shell and Liberty Oil brands in Australia, announced it would acquire OTR from Peregrine Corporation for A$1.15 billion

            • @hamza23: Thanks. The Shahin family have done well.

  • Any idea if these are fresh?

    • Sorry don't know. At the Perth store yesterday, there was only 1 pack left and seems popular.

      • Thanks, i did notice in thr past wasnt fresh at costco. I think they had og and pink sprinkles

Also noticed that it wasnt in woolworths aswell now

        • Unless you can find out from your local Costco when they receive the KK delivery. The freshest would be from the KK stores.

  • They probably comes frozen and get defrosted like most bakery in supermarkets. I know Costco does it from scratch but its only for their own bakery products.

    • Ive seen costco making from scratch and also woolworths, is coles frozen and defrosted
