They would look good on you.
Most sizes and colours are more than $69 now.Myer has for $69
https://www.myer.com.au/p/hush-puppies-terminal-brown-desert…No doubt there are other brands around but none are going to be that comfy.
How do these compare for size? Small / large?
From experience, get a full/half size smaller. Can someone second that please?
Definitely one size down. Though HP quality is dipping down hill, I still heavily wear their boots and always go for 1.5 down size.
I have these
Get 1 size smallerget a couple of sizes, try it out and then refund the ones you dont want
Are these good for walking in the desert?
Warning, reviews say these will disintegrate within 2 months
Mine have held up fine for 6 months so far
One of the most uncomfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. If any one buys one get 1 size down.
Are the heels hard or soft rubber? Thanks
hard…gets really uncomfortable!!
damm the shoes look ok though
I had a similar pair (not exactly the same but looks similar) 5 years ago and I pretty liked it. I remember the rubber was soft, so I will pass this one based on your review.
I find using the EU size guide gives me the correct size every time. Checked it this time and it was one size down as you suggested from my regular size.
Do you recommend getting 1 whole size down or one size down incrementally by 0.5?
i.e. 9.5 to 8.5 US
or 9.5 to 9.0 US
Thanks OP I have 3 pairs of these already. They are great for the price (e.g. $70 - do not expect them to match your RM Williams for quallity or comfort becuase they are <20% of the price), I wear them a couple of times a week to work for ~12 hours a day and don't find them noticeably uncomfortable. I like the soft soles, it means you're not loudly clomping around on hard surfaces.
Unfortunately I am a AU/UK14 which seems to be the only size not included in this deal otherwise I would buy a couple more pairs!
The reviews don't look promising
I’ve had two pairs of these in the past (about 8 or so years ago). Comfortable at the start, but they don’t hold up long-term. After a while, you really start to feel the ground under your feet.
I’d say you’ll get about a year out of them, assuming you're not wearing them every single day.
Thanks Op, the Chelsea boots were on sale as well, and I picked up a set for $109 which is not a bad price
