Another year. Another Sydney Swans/VW comp.

I see they have made substantial changes to the T & C's. Correct dates and much clearer info all around especially draw date, winner notification and publishing those details. Maybe complaints about the 'issues' of the previous comp has had some positive impact.

Thanks for posting aga9n shaneb and good luck. :-)

  • I mut be ou of touch, ovr $40K for a car with a 1 litre 3 cyclinder engine?

    • It's turbo charged if it helps you any. I think it's the low fuel consumption (if you can believe that based on past company history) + it has the VW badge which probably increases the price a little. Even the low end SUV's are over $30k starting price from what I've seen.

    • Wakey wakey sleepy, it's post pandemic now.

Below is a link to the winner that is showing on the Sydney Swans website. No date on the article so I am assuming it is from this 2025 comp as the T & C's said it would be posted there on 30/6.

The winner is a 'Member" of Sydney Swans so I am wondering if non members ever have a chance even though I cannot see that as a requirement for entering.

Anyway good to see they have run this year according to the clear terms they set out. Thanks again @shaneb for posting this. Better luck next year. 🤞

Thanks CL123. I think its probably more that there'd be a lot more people entering that are actually Swans supporters than us. A bit like it seems Queenslanders win most of those QLD based home lottery things (that I've seen anyway). It does say on that page "The competition was held for 28 days with members and fans able to enter the draw daily.", so there was no requirement to be a member.
