My wife is usually right on everything, but boy how wrong is she on these. I don't know why she raves about these water bottle so much. The sippy area gets super mouldy if I don't scrub it with a straw cleaner every few weeks. When I clean it with a straw cleaner, it ruins the sealing mechanism (which is just two little flimsy flaps creating a suction to prevent water from leaking out) so the bottle starts leaking when tilted to the side even with the cap closed. Please enlighten me why b.box are so popular among children.
Regular washing in the dishwasher (top shelf), pull out the silicone spout bit and also put in the dishwasher. I’ve never had any issues with mould.
Ahhh, that's where we went wrong. We don't use the dish washer; just hand wash. Thanks
Also, triangle shape is not great for cup holders. Rubber 'feet' are too large for most holders to easily use as well.
Not a functional design.
