Watched the two previews on Steam and Im still not sure what this game is about…
Bad deal. You are trading up at least hundreds of hours and lots of burnt brain cells for this deal. Say good bye to social life because you are trying to get the automation going, then to realise it's better to setup farms which are more efficient. /s
Could you expand on that? Do you mean farm instead so you can at least have a social life?
Not a good example, but like gathering the resource Reed Fiber for Atmo Suit. You can farm Thimble Reed with polluted waster + dirt setup where you automate the process to reduce manual Dupe labor. Or setup a Drecko ranching / farm with correct feed where it should require less resources.
Regardless, your social life will take a hit once you start :-)
Edit: Pro players setup wild Thimble Reed / plant farm, but that's tricky
I wish this game is multiplayer so that we could at least have some social life haha
