      yep still dont want one

      • -1

Fair enough — not for everyone!
But if you ever get tired of twisting your lid 1,000 times a year… we’ll be here 😄

    • Are you asking yourself? I think you forgot to log into your sock puppet account before you asked yourself a question.

      • I don't need to

  • +1

imagine saving 2 seconds every time you drink …

    • Exactly! Those 2 seconds add up — especially when you’re thirsty, driving, or holding a screaming toddler 😅
      Twist-free convenience is surprisingly addictive.

      • Wouldn't these people benefit from a pop top style drink bottle then? and yes you may be able to open it with one hand but you need a solid surface to place the bottle on or hold it with your other hand?

        • Great point — pop-top bottles are handy too, especially for quick sips.

The difference is: RevoMax is built for insulation + security, not just sipping. It’s vacuum-sealed, leakproof, and keeps drinks hot or cold for 18–36 hours.

You can open it one-handed (we have driving demos to prove it), but yes — holding it steady helps, just like a coffee thermos.

It’s a different use case: not for toddlers at soccer, but great for adults on the go, commuting, or outdoors.

Not really a bargain when you can buy a 960ml Stainless Steel Double Wall Drink Bottle at Kmart for $14.00.
More like just using OzB for free adz.

    • Appreciate the comment — totally understand not everyone wants to pay more for features like twist-free lids or 36hr insulation.

As for OzB, we love seeing feedback (good or savage!) — and yes, we’re a small Aussie business trying to get the word out 🙏
So thanks for helping us do that 😄

      • "36hr insulation" is meaningless marketing mumbo jumbo. Anything you put inside the Kmart one for 36hrs is insulated for 36hrs too.

        • Honestly, it’s always a bit disheartening to see people bash small local businesses just for not being the cheapest.

We’re not pretending to beat Kmart on price — we just believe some people want more than mass-produced basics.

Appreciate everyone who supports small Aussie startups like ours 🙏

          • @Mr-Carve: Wow that was a fast turnaround! What happened to your 1st reply where you said you love seeing feedback good or savage?

My comment wasn't even savage, nor was it bashing.

            • @WatchNerd: Haha you’re right — that one was more of a cheeky roast than full-on savage 😄

Honestly, we do love seeing all kinds of feedback. It keeps us sharp, and sometimes makes us laugh (even the maths).

Appreciate you joining the convo — no hard feelings at all!

@Mr-Carve: Oh I see why your replies are inconsistent now, you admitted to using ChatGPT below.

                • -2

@WatchNerd: Haha fair enough — yes, I use ChatGPT to help shape responses when the comments start flying fast.

The thoughts are mine, the tone is mine — sometimes the grammar and punchlines get a little AI polish 😄

Running a small biz means juggling 10 things at once. If using tools helps us stay on-brand and respectful, I’ll take it.

It's terrible optics when even a business rep can't even think for themselves, and instead needs to rely on AI to interact with prospective customers. It's lazy.

Neg for rep conduct and charging exorbitant amounts for an unknown brand trying to fix a problem that doesn't need fixing. Who drinks 600ml of coffee over 18 hours???

                    • -1

@Lucille Bluth: I hear you — and I get where the frustration’s coming from.

For context: We run this small brand ourselves, and we use AI tools like ChatGPT to help keep up with fast-paced comments and write clearly under pressure.

But I promise the ideas, direction, and intent are all ours. It’s still a human (me) behind the product, the business, and these replies.

As for the bottle: it’s not just for 18 hours of coffee — it’s for long drives, outdoor trips, and people who want their drinks to stay hot or cold for as long as possible. We’re not for everyone, and that’s okay.

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts — and if nothing else, thanks for making sure others are thinking critically too.

Honestly, it’s always a bit disheartening to see people bash small local businesses just for not being the cheapest.

LOL… oh have at it, champ… This is OzBargain, not "OzCloseEnoughBecauseHeIsALittleAussieBattler"

This whole website is 100% about finding the cheapest, not for your free advertising. You are not being "bashed" for it, it's literally the truth.

Added to that, you are just doing the same as everyone else and buying off Alibaba/AliExpress and making up a Shitify store to sell your bulk shopped wares and expecting us to just put up with your middleman mark up. Hell no, why should we just because the play the "bleeding heart" card?

We’re not pretending to beat Kmart on price

So, then this is nothing more than "advertising"

we just believe some people want more than mass-produced basics.

Sooooo… you bulk buy out of China from a "mass-producer" and just sell to consumers here?

Appreciate everyone who supports small Aussie startups like ours

It's not a "start up", you are a dropshitter/bulk buyer. This isnt new or novel, it's just anohter spammer making a Shitify store and buying bulk crap from China and slapping a 300% mark up on it and expecting us to swallow this "AuSSiE BaTtLeR" bullshit.

You need to go back to the "mum/dadpreneur" Fartbook group from whence you crawled from and send them a warning… "OzBargain is NOT a soft target audience for advertising your bulk-bought Chinese crap."

It's like a game of "Wak-A-Mole" here with all these bleeding heart "but we're an Aussie business" thinking that they should get a pass for ripping people off by just trying to wedge themselves between consumers and buying direct out of China ourselves.

        • -1

We get that a lot — “all bottles are the same”, until people actually try sipping hot coffee from a Kmart one after 6 hours vs ours after 18 😉

Not here to sell hype — just a better build for people who care.

  • +2

I wish I can be insulated from marketing bullshit

36 hours cold insulation for less than 600mL,
Thats 16mL an hour, lol, if it was say 3 Litres that's a different story, but I don't know what leg your pulling.

    It's 55$ without coupon for under 600mL
You can get ice cold bottles of water for 99c at ALDI and have it cold anytime, as 600mL based on the average 16 hour awake time consuming 2L is roughly 130mL an hour so about 5 hours of normal water consumption

    • -1

You're absolutely right — 592ml isn't a massive volume. But the insulation spec isn’t about hourly consumption, it’s about temperature retention.

It means: fill it with ice water, leave it on your dashboard, come back the next day — it’s still cold.

Not for everyone — just people who like cold drinks without the gimmicks.

      • +3

        https://www.anacondastores.com/camping-hiking/fridges-cooler…

Holds 20L for up to 5 days, less than the price of 2 of your 600mL bottles.

Also why the f… would you leave a 600mL have drunk bottle in the car instead of taking it with you. If you are gonna leave it in the car might as well leave 25L of ice lol….

Just like the people who want water without the gimmicks lol

        • -1

Totally get where you're coming from — if you're hauling 25L of ice around, a camping cooler is 100% the way to go.

But for those of us who want cold water on the go — without a truck tray — a 600ml bottle that keeps ice for 36hrs is actually pretty useful.

And hey, sometimes you do leave your bottle in the car… because life. Not everyone carries a 25L cooler to the gym 😄

          • +4

@Mr-Carve: Why are you using ChatGPT to make your replies? It’s really weird ..

            • -2

@zubzub: Haha yep, I use ChatGPT to help polish replies — especially when I’m trying to balance customer service, shipping, and answering OzB with a smile 😅

I still mean every word — I just let the bot fix my grammar.

        • Now thats a bargain! :)

          • -1

@noslappers: Fair point — if hydration was just about the cheapest mL per hour, ALDI has us all beat 😄

But we’re here for the people who want their drinks ice cold after 12 hours, in a bottle that won’t leak, twist, or explode in your bag.

            Different needs, different bottles!

            • @Mr-Carve: Can you show me the testing vs a regular bottle of water and other items in the category that you have performed that allows you to claim won’t leak, twist, or explode in your bag.

I have never had any of these happen through proper use.

              • @mrkorrupt: Feel free to check out the videos in the product link

Generous 592ml Capacity – Perfect for all-day hydration

In what universe is 592ml “all-day” hydration. That’s not even the drink I get with a combo at KFC which lasts me one sitting.

    • -2

Totally fair — 592ml won’t hydrate you from sunrise to sunset without a refill 😅

“All-day” really means: you can toss it in your bag, sip throughout the day, and whatever’s inside stays hot or cold the whole time.

It’s not about the litres — it’s about having the perfect drink every time you reach for it.

      • So then the capacity is not “generous” nor does it have anything to do with hydration. Your only selling point seems to be thermal insulation and it seems to me that you’re reaching to find other ways to say the same thing.

        I would rather get a 600ml Camelbak for $38.49

        • Totally fair — if hydration means high-volume drinking, then yes, 592ml isn’t going to win that category.

But our goal isn’t to replace a jug. It’s to deliver a thermal bottle that’s completely leakproof, opens one-handed, and keeps your drink the perfect temperature whether you’re on a long drive, at work, or out for hours.

Camelbak makes great bottles — and for some people, that’s the better fit. For others, it’s about a premium sealing system, zero leaks, and lasting insulation. That’s our space.

Appreciate the thoughtful feedback — really!

  • +2

    Negging because;

a: it's a "generic item" that can be had elsewhere for cheaper. It brings nothing new to the table and is not "unique" enough
b: dubious claims and too much marketing garbage. "All day hydration" for less than 600ml. Insulated for 36 hours, meaning what? It starts leaking after 36 hours?
c: this is nothing but pure advertising. They are just another "StArT uP!1!" looking to just wedge themselves between consumers and buying direct and using OzBargain as their advertising platform

    • Appreciate you taking the time to write this out — even if it’s clearly not in our favour.

Just to clarify a few things:
      • Yes, there are cheaper bottles — we’re not claiming to be the cheapest. We’re focused on thermal performance, leakproof design, and convenience for daily use.
      • “36hr insulation” doesn’t mean it leaks after 36 hours. It means drinks can stay cold for that long (we’ve tested it).
      • “All-day hydration” may be an overreach for some — fair point. We’ll take that feedback on board.

As for the rest: we are a small business. We’re not pretending to be anything else. We’re just trying to share what we’re building with people who might find it useful — not trying to fool anyone.

We know we’re not for everyone. And we’re okay with that.

      • +2

Yes, there are cheaper bottles — we’re not claiming to be the cheapest.

Then you are admitting that this is just here for the sake of advertising your product. I cant even see any reference to this being a deal. What is the normal price? What is the discount? What makes it a deal? Why buy form you (other than the "bUt iM aN AUsSiE StArT-uP!1!" marketing bullshit)?

We’re just trying to share what we’re building with people who might find it useful

        Rubbish…

Anyway, I literally found the EXACT same items on Alibaba, so it goes to show that you are literally just trying to insert yourself into the supply chain for no other reason than "profit scraping". They are literally also all over AliExpress as well, EXACTLY the same bottles, right down to the logo on them. Cheaper without any "code" and include shipping.

We know we’re not for everyone.

This is a "bargain" website… your prices are about 20~30% higher than just sourcing it yourself and NOT paying you your "profit scraping markup" price, kinda means that you're not for everyone, but you're almost not for "anyone".

If there is one thing this website hates more than poor deals, it's spam/advertising, and it seldom forgets.

        • Thanks for the detailed response — and I can see where you’re coming from.

Yes, the bottles are manufactured overseas. We don’t hide that. But we’re not just “reselling AliExpress” either. We hold inventory locally, we test every batch, we provide local support, and we ship fast from Sydney — not in 3–5 weeks with no warranty.

Are there cheaper options online? Definitely. But many people still choose to buy local for convenience, delivery speed, after-sales support, and accountability.

As for profit: we do need margin to survive — like every small business. But we’re not trying to fool anyone. Our customers know what they’re buying and why.

You’re clearly not our audience — and that’s totally fine. But I’ll still stand by the effort we’re putting in to do it properly.

          • +1

@Mr-Carve: so you have drank out of the bottle you send to consumer to test it, seems hygenic?
            who is your target audience?
Honestly, I think whoever decided to buy this product to sell to us within your company is clueless

            • @mrkorrupt: Definitely not sending anyone a “pre-sipped” bottle — promise 😅

We meant product testing in the R&D sense: checking durability, insulation performance, and the actual user experience.

Target audience? People who don’t want lukewarm coffee after 2 hours, or a leaky bottle in their backpack.

Maybe that’s niche. Maybe it’s not for you. But we’re confident there’s a real audience — because we are that audience too.

              • +1

                @Mr-Carve:

But we’re not just “reselling AliExpress” either.

You literally are. I not only found the EXACT item on both Alibaba AND AliExpress, but I found them with the EXACT same branding. You are literally just buying in bulk from China and reselling in Australia.

                You’re clearly not our audience

Oh, no… we're clearly not your "target" would be a more correct way of stating that. What ever mumpreneur blog told you this was a good idea, to spam OzBargain, lied to you. I would be seeking a refund for their "e-book". You may have gotten a "few" sales from this, but the brand damage you have done in one post here will haunt you for a long time into the future.

We meant product testing in the R&D sense

Oh, grow up, R&D on a bulk shipped water bottle you buy from a mass producer in China… You do (fropanity) all R&D… They dont make them to "your" specifications. They make them in bulk and you buy them a carton at a time. You didn't even bother to get your own branding on them, FFS.

You're as full of shit as the EV charger guy, John, and that "Fexmus" woman from last week trying to tell us that their products are designed and developed here… and then I find their products on Alibaba for a FRACTION of the cost.

                R&D my arse.

                • @pegaxs: Look, I get it — you’ve clearly done your research, and you’re not wrong that this product comes from an OEM in China. We’ve never hidden that.

But let’s be honest — a huge percentage of global products, even premium brands, are manufactured the same way. The value isn’t just in the factory. It’s in local support, customer service, quality control, fast fulfillment, and standing behind what we sell.

We’re not claiming to be inventors or engineers. We’re just trying to run a transparent small business with clear communication and respect for our customers.

If that’s not good enough for you — fair enough. You’re not our customer. But if we’re being measured by how we handle public criticism, I’d rather be the one staying calm and honest.

                  Wishing you a good day.
