O'Yang? What is that, Irish Chinese?
Everyone wants to get a piece of the Irish action. It's "Ouyang" in Chinese pinyin but cooler to spell it as O'Yang
One of his interviews said it was easier to pronounce o'yang than ouyang in US
All his stand up shows sold out quick, especially in Hong Kong and Macau
In Cantonese his name is pronounced as Aou Yeung Mang Shing. O'Yang is pretty close.
It's the most common multi-character surname in Chinese, but still a relatively rare surname in general.

Dayo is fantastic. However his market is limited. Jimmy's market is worldwide.
I look forward to the next special on Amazon Prime Video when he does his show at HK. He referenced Dayo in his show.
I think he even got Dayo and a few famous HK stars/comedians featuring on his shows in HK
He's part of a recent, huge propaganda wave using influencers to target the younger crowd. IShowSpeed, Jimmy O'Yang, etc.
Yeah that's right but after the hong kong security law, Dayo said he isn't interested or dare to do these shows anymore due to very restricted content. Unfortunately it's shame he is no longer doing so. Jimmy would be his predecessor except he can do English and covering western audiences
