This won't be a gaming laptop. This will be for catching up on forums, RSS feeds and imputing stuff to a large sql db/spreadsheet. My current atom netbook is sluggish with the sql db and is becoming an eye sore (it's 10").
I've got a Win8 ISO I got from MSDNAA which I'm tempted to test try soon
I'll probably watch the odd bluray backup on a slow night too.
Any suggestions? I've been out of the notebook game for a while. I was suggested an Acer ultrabook a while ago for just over $500 (incl postage). Can't remember the model.
