Chemist Warehouse Online Order - 11 Days and Still Waiting!

Had to have a rant and give a little buyer beware!

Ordered about $180 worth of stuff on 5/1/13 as they had a decent sale on, and 'free delivery' for orders over $99…

Checked the order status (i think) about 6 days later, it was showing as 'shipped' but the tracking info wasn't working.

Checked everyday and finally, on the 14th/1/13 auspost had the data in their system, as being entered on the 14/1/13…

Today comes and still waiting, tracking not even showing logged in my state so lucky to get it by next week… if I'd have known it would have taken this long I'd probably drive to the nearest one (about 1 hr away) as my wife takes the breastfeeding blackmores pills which was one of the reasons for the order…

Generally pretty pi&#%d off, emailed them yesterday have had no response, have received no emails notifying of delays to my order. I could have ordered from overseas and received in less time! They even stung me an extra $3.50 odd for postage due to the size of the order (fair enough if I had received the goods in fair time!).

Anyone else not yet received their online orders?

Never again chemist warehouse!

Don't buy stuff from their online shop if your about to run out of anything, it's a joke!

    Always received their orders in time. Call them up, they usually have the tracking info with them.

    Chemist Warehouse is a joke. They are most likely understaffed thus unable to respond in a timely manner.

    I think with all online purchases, it's wise to go by the 'it's going to take 2 weeks to get to me' train of thought.

    That way, your not checking orders everyday, your not ordering things online you need without delay and you'll get a surprise when it gets to you early.

    Express shipping, well that's another story!

    I now agree to some degree with not expecting items to be delivered in fair time, for example, COTD, ebay purchases, amazon etc, however, I generally receive my packages within 3-5 days and when ordering from a 'chemist', online, and they do advertise on their main page that 'Over 90% of orders shipped next day', then I honestly did 'expect' a pretty quick turn around! Really, to not send out a notice of delay or something like that, IMO it's pretty poor management of an order of considerable value of items that are not 'toys, electronics or junkbits'

      Yeah, and there's your answer. The other 10% of orders that don't get shipped next day. The orders which may contain an obscure item which needs to be sourced from another warehouse etc.
      I bet you also sit in peak hour traffic and honk the horn? Patience is a virtue my friend.

    I've had a few orders with them and all arrived in a week or less.

    Just collected from local PO, 12 days from order, only good thing to say: well packed.
