How great is the sound quality here, compared to say schiit or chinese made usb dacs
Is it better than chinese made usb dacs of the same price ? I heard that Creative sucks vs any SMSL.
Doubt it would better, but put in mind difference in price when you need to get a dac amp stack compared to aio discount from creative….. I would personally still get the dac amp stack.
I can't say schiit is worth it at all in Australia. They are well made and nice to look at but the value is mostly for Americas not Australians as there is a markup.
Past $50 you won't hear a difference and like that's being generous.
Imo is biggest bang for buck no frills.
Compaired to the fulla e i have the fulla is noticebly better sounding with my dt 770 pro x that is when the G8 works properly when utilizing the dual usb, sometimes theres a quiet buzzing kinda noise that after unplugging and plugging it back it will be gone.
Try optical, it will help with the buzz

Ooo one usb dac for gaming output and one for music. Hey that's kinda cool! Realistically could do it in Windows (and possibly virtually), but that's actually a nifty idea.
