The other day I was lucky to get the super premium set at Kmart on release day and was visibly happy I got one. Then one of the staff chicks said, oh yeah I got one too.
I thought I bet you did b/7@h, that’s why we are never able to get any of the new pokemon sets at Kmart, because the staff are getting all of them.
So many times they show stock available at night and then they are gone before the store even opens in the morning. This is not ok.
Looks like they brought the virgin army out to neg you.
Imagine being a grown adult calling the young lady working at Kmart a b/7@h because she bought herself one box of Pokemon cards, while you're skipping work (if you've even got a job) to camp out and get in there as soon as the shop opens on release day. Kind of pathetic. Actually, rephrase, it's completely pathetic.
Your post is full of false assumptions. But regardless, the point is that the staff buy all these boxes and that’s not ok.
They are often sold out before the store even opens, and that’s not because of online orders.
Apparently there are lots of people who camp out there and go to the store as soon as it opens on release day (I have never done that) only to find out they have none to sell or maybe 1 or 2, because the staff bought it all. That’s pathetic in my opinion, but not from the people who queue but from the staff and the stores who allow their staff to do that.

I think this is the main reason why it's so hard to get any stocks from the big retails (Kmart, Target, Big W).
I mean, what's stopping the staff from just purchasing them all bar 1-2.

Having stock is absolutely a bargain when it comes to pokemon
Combined with $9 chalk and $15 off over $50 spend, total = $36~.
PS: there's no actual stock limit, so don't be surprised when they cancel/don't fulfill your order.

Don't buy with gift cards, it takes the money straight away. Better to use card.

Difference is your not a business your buying it at a RRP then reselling it for more which is a scummy move that ruins this for everyone

If you are doing a MasterSet its worth it cause of the promos packs are not the only thing that matters :D
So that’s why Amazon never has anything in stock, because they allow unlimited preorders. That just sucks. They should limit popular items to a few per customer so we all get a chance to buy.

Bought a fake 151 holo, took off the charizard (replaced with a cheap maccas charizard), put them into a nice binder thats more expensive than the cards.
Contemplating to leave the whole thing to a random garage sale to hopefully cause some chaos for less than $50

Majority of people don't. "Don't ask questions, just consume product and then get excited for next products." is what I get when I ask my Pokémon friend why he spends so much on these cards that just end up gathering dust.
same could be said for people collecting shoes, watches, games, coins, stamps and just about anything collectors item.
i started taking my kids to the local game shop to play, they have a kids morning and battle their built decks.

If you want cards for play at a Local Game Shop, get the Dragapult ex League Battle Deck.
It's a decent deck that's ready to play.
Yes. There are vibrant communities that play on a regular basis, with large tournaments around the world.
Yes! It's really fun. Played at local tournaments and regional. Fairly cheap to make a meta deck ($50-100). I've made Mew Vmax, Gholdenho ex, charizard ex and miraidon ex.
Key is to buy singles or get a league battle deck and supplement with singles.
Do all these new packs have rare cards that are worth money? How do you know it's worth anything since it's so new?

Was in line at target today for a click and collect order, and staff are putting them on hold then buying them from each other. Get a nice 10% discount. It's becoming so difficult to find stock. Thanks for the post 🙂
