    could price match with https://www.rebelsport.com.au/p/wilson-fiba-3x3-game-basketb… and then C&C from a local store

      could try, however the Wilson one linked is a 2024 Paris Olympics version of the ball.

    • i stand corrected, the missus went to rebel in Macquarie Park and picked up the last one there and was able to price match it.

  • Thanks got 5 for my son to practise..

      its a 3x3, not 5x5.. you only need 3

    this is the offical ball, and the offical ball is a girls ball for the men.

    I had to return mine, i need size 7, and this is a size 6

    • Good point, should be size 7 for an official ball. Does the women's league use a size 6?

        Does the women's league use a size 6?

        yes. women use a smaller ball size in many sports that require the ball to be caught and handled by hand - Australian rules footy, cricket, etc.

        the 3x3 ball is the only ball i know of that is size 6 for men that would be a standard women basketball for the all other leagues.

        all mens leagues use size 7, except for 3x3. the justification i heard about using a size 6 ball was to make it more accessible to everyone. meh

      There's slightly more to it than that. It's the size of a 6, with the weight of a 7, and a much more aggressive grip pattern. This is a specific design used only for the 3x3 game. There is only one size of 3x3 ball.

        A kid in my sons team has this ball (he plays under 12’s) and I was shooting with it the other day at his training and wondering why it felt weird.

        Explains the “size 6 ball, but size 7 weight “

          They're weird. They feel flat. I'd only get this if you are specifically playing Fiba rules 3x3, and I don't recommend them for anyone playing or practicing regular basketball.

            @Jake D: Very niche ball.

            They use it for faster ball handling in the men's competition.

        • i like using this ball as a casual just shooting around ball, the extra grooves help with the grip and shooting technique,
