I went down the rabbit hole of "whats the best ironing board" when I was going to the office 5 days a week in business clothes. This particular board was the answer. I never bought one but $199 was about the cheapest I ever saw one on Amazon, and I was tempted (more money than sense perhaps).
For $149, if you are in the market for "probably the best ironing board you'll ever use" then it's a pretty good deal IMHO.

You don't have to like the beatles, or drink beer, to know that a $149 ironing board is a stupid waste of money.
At some point, common sense needs to kick in. It isn't a case of whether or not the deal "interests" me. I iron a few shirts each weekend, and I can tell you objectively that OP's "deal" (if you can call it that) is just a very expensive ironing board that won't do anything more for you than a $10 ironing board would.

Some people iron everything, including sheets. For someone who does a lot of ironing it makes sense to have good quality equipment.
