  • So each time you turn the page, you unclip the light and then reclip?

Easier to stick a flexi ~$1 LED light in a powerbank.

    • +1

No - it clips to the rear cover and bends over the top of the pages. Their photo on the page itself is dumb.

That said, there are better models out there than this one.

    • No, you mount it on your back cover and extra pages if needed. There would be no need to unclip and reclip each time you turn a page.
FWIW I have one of these and I'm pretty happy with it

    • I actually hold the light in one hand as I read. I know it’s weird, but kind of cosy when you’re in bed in the dark, and you just light up the part of the page that you’re reading.

  • Ordered and then cancelled because this model does not have USB-C (only USB-A). Noticed another model from same brand with USB-C for a couple bucks more so bought that one instead. Thanks OP for the idea of a book light!

  • I use this as my light for checking on the kids who share a room, as the soft warm colour temp setting and dimmer makes it very handy.

I looked at a bunch of Sofirn, olight with red lights etc that were too strong (and button pressed too complicated ) and figured this might do the job, and it has.
