Recommendations for Pull out Kitchen Tap

Looking for recommendations for a tap which is very similar to this in terms of looks(black matte), feature(pull out with constant flow and vegie spray"
) and warranty(15 months)

    Not 100% effective….

    • Why?

Yeh nah. Been there. Spend your money on something that is actually useful.

    • Curious to know why you think its not useful?

      • Because you will use the pully outy thing lots in the first month, then once a month after that, then it fails after a couple of years.

Rubbish - we had a pull-out tap in our last place and used it multiple times every day.

    I have this:
    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B0D2NM5125?psc=1&ref=ppx_p…

    It’s available in black.

It’s a great tap but I also use the pull out function sparingly.

The problem with pull out taps is that the parts for pulling out the tap wear overtime (primarily where the hose fixes to the head itself) and are prone to fail. They’re nice to have but not essential

If you can DIY install and are prepared to replace every few years (I am) they’re fine. If you’re going for a one and done approach to it then you may get disappointed

  • Instead of pull out hose tap, which will fail over time, what about one that has a bendy, hose tap?

  • Not for that price. Using the Caroma equivalent which you should get max $600. No issues so far after 18 months solid use.

We have this.. the first one lasted about 3.5 years and had issues with it's cartridge.. Logged a case with Caroma and it was one of the easiest warranty claim process.. they sent a new one and advised that they have changed the manufacturer and should not have any issues with the new model. Cant provide review on new one as have only been using it for 3 months but it works well so far.
