Soda water is good for when you're staying off the beers. The effervescence is reminiscent of a bevvy, works for me.
A Billy Bubbles refill is good for about 60 litres and costs $10…
Great deals hampered by terribly slow shipping.
If you dont drink it you'll get the same effect.
Feels similar to purchasing vegetarian bacon. Just not right.
RRP $140 … who the heck is paying $140 for beer-flavoured carbonated water? Brewers want us to drink their product even when we're not drinking and charge similar prices to full-strength.
yeah and there is no alcohol tax on these products…
To be fair its not like they have found some sort of beer flavoured cordial and put it in carbonated water. It is done using the same process as normal brewing (same ingredients) and then either vacuum distilling it or using reverse osmosis to remove the alcohol but preserve the beer taste. So not a cheap process.
They dont want you to drink it when your not drinking. You are free to drink a coke or water. They have given an option to people that like that taste of beer that dont want alcohol, people who are driving but still want to enjoy a drink out. Its an option and 'non-alcoholic' is increasingly becoming popular with people. 'Over price water' maybe, but it has its place…..
24 litres of water works out cheaper…
