Wondering if anyone knows the answer / has tried.
TopCashback have the highest cashback guarantee.
TopCashback has a standard cashback that allows coupons.
Another major cashback site has a higher cashback rate that doesn't allow coupons.
Can you use TCB with a coupon and claim the HCG against the other major cashback providers rate?
My interpretation of the conditions on the TCB HCG page doesn't make this clearly not okay, but not sure they'd want to pay it out.

So go by that and assume it's not okay, and they'll reject the claim. I'm sure @tightarse would be happy to clarify, though.

Hi and thanks for the question. Codes can be bespoke to cashback publishers. As an example, if code XYZ123 is advertised by TopCashback and no-one else, it's quite possible the code will only commission to TopCashback. We therefore can't honour the claim even if another publisher has a higher rate at time of purchase, as the other publisher may not have paid you cashback anyway due to unlisted code use.
In summary (and to keep it simple), everything needs to be like-for-like:
- If another cashback publisher has the same code advertised as us, then yes we'll honour it.
- If another cashback publisher has no code advertised and neither do we, then yes we'll honour it.
- If another cashback publisher has no code advertised but we do, then no we can't honour it as it may be a bespoke code.
- If another cashback publisher has a code advertised but we don't, then no we can't honour it as it may be a bespoke code.

Here's a specific example -
Shopback has an upsized 10% cashback at ebay:
10% - Standard Cashback (Capped at $20, excluding other Coupons usage)
2% - Vehicle Parts & Accessories (Usage of JUNEOFY22 or JUNEOFY20) (Capped at $20)
<1% - (similar for other categories)
TCB has 3% cashback on any "Online purchase" from ebay.
TCB allows the JUNEOFY22 and JUNEOFY20 coupons, listed on their page.
Can we use TCB with this coupon (valid for 3%) and claim the cashback guarantee against the Shopback 10%?
No worries at all, glad to help.
Unfortunately ineligible for a claim as SB clearly states the 10% tier excludes all coupon use. So in this example, if you need to use either of those two codes at SB for a purchase other than vehicle parts, you’ll get 0% cashback from them, vs 3% cashback from us.
